The entire fleet of Meru cabs consists of air-conditioned luxury cars. All the cars chosen for the Meru fleet have been engineered for Indian conditions.

Digital tamper proof Meters and Printers

Each Meru cab is equipped with a tamper-proof digital meter that has been approved and sealed by the Road Transportation Authority (RTA). The meters are also integrated with an electronic printer so that a printed receipt is given to the customer at the end of each trip.

State-of-the-Art Backend Technology

The Meru service is delivered with the help of state-of-the-art back end dispatch management technology. This comprises software, which uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) to track and detect the movement of every vehicle on a real time basis. High quality tracking equipment is loaded on each vehicle which relays back to the control center, a large array of identified parameters on a real time basis like exact location, direction of movement, speed etc and provides the Control Center an ability to track and contact each Meru cab, at all times.

Customer Service Center

The Meru Customer Service Center is a state of the art facility, which is manned on a 24x7 basis. Customers can call this center to request for a cab at the desired time and location. All Meru cabs are constantly being monitored from this call center on a real time basis. The interface between the Customer Service center and the cab is to direct the cab to a customer, and for the chauffeur of the vehicle to message the center in case he needs any assistance. There is also a Panic Button in the cab that can be activated by the chauffeur to alert the Customer Service Center in case of any emergency.

Traveling Ambience

Each air-conditioned Meru cab is thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis to ensure a pleasant travel experience. Meru has worked closely with vehicle manufacturers to ensure that the seating comfort of the passenger is taken of by providing easy to clean seat covers. Some basic amenities like face tissues, FM Radio etc are also offered to passengers.

Professionally Trained chauffeurs

All Meru chauffeurs have been selected through a rigorous process of identifying chauffeurs with adequate knowledge of the city and good basic driving skills. All chauffeurs undergo a driving test, medical test and address verification. All chauffeurs have also been put through a comprehensive training program.
